Instructions
1. Cook the Seafood
In a skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Set aside.
2. Prepare the Cheese Mixture
In a large bowl, combine:
ricotta
1 cup mozzarella
½ cup Parmesan
egg
parsley
lemon zest
salt and pepper
Mix until smooth.
3. Make the White Sauce
Melt 4 tbsp butter in a saucepan.
Whisk in flour to form a smooth roux; cook 1 minute.
Slowly add milk or half-and-half, whisking continuously.
Add Parmesan, garlic powder, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
Simmer until thickened.
4. Assemble the Lasagna
In a greased 9x13 baking dish:
Spread a thin layer of white sauce on the bottom.
Add a layer of lasagna noodles.
Spread ⅓ of the cheese mixture.
Add ⅓ of the seafood mixture.
Drizzle white sauce over the layer.
Repeat layers 2 more times.
Finish with noodles, sauce, and a generous topping of mozzarella.
5. Bake
Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes.
Remove foil and bake 15–20 minutes more until bubbly and golden.
Rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing (this helps the layers set).
